Allegany Nature Pilgrimage
Imagine 500 or more nature enthusiasts gathering together for a whole weekend of walks, talks, and general good fun. That’s what happens on the weekend following Memorial Day at Allegany State Park. The Pilgrimage is a collaboration of Jamestown Audubon, Buffalo Audubon, Presque Isle Audubon, and the Burroughs Nature Club.
It’s so big, it has its own website:

ANP participants learn about trees from Tom LeBlanc during the Old Growth Forest hike in 2008.
