Butterfly House 2009
Imagine this: You walk into the multi-purpose room at Audubon and are surrounded by Monarch Butterflies. Maybe one will land on you. Maybe you will see an adult emerge from its chrysalis. Maybe you will watch a caterpillar munch on some milkweed.
Monarch Mama, Barbara Case will be on hand to show you how she attaches tiny tags to the butterflies’ wings so that scientists can track their migration.
Admission to the building is free on Sundays, but since this is a fundraiser, we will charge you $5 to go into the Butterfly Room. It will be totally worth it! Bring your camera.
Date: Sunday, August 30, 2009
Time: 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Cost: $5/person
