Birthday Parties
The party is approximately 2 hours long. The first 20 minutes or so involve arrival and self-guided tours of the exhibit. Once everyone arrives, a naturalist will provide a program and activities for about 1 hour. These activities may include outdoor explorations, a behind-the-scenes tour of our Eagle prep room, feeding the backyard birds, a live animal presentation, or some combination of these… depending weather conditions and your child’s interest.
To promote green behaviors and reduce waste, Audubon provides all dishes, silver, cups and napkins. We’ll even do the dishes and the laundry for you! Please plan to take garbage home with you, as we do not have storage for the extra garbage generated by parties. (We are happy to compost organic waste, recycle any beverage containers, and keep any re-usable tissue paper for our craft supply closet!)

Schedule as far in advance as you can to secure a suitable date. Most parties are offered on weekends, but we can sometimes accommodate evening parties, or mid-week parties, especially during school breaks. We are busy, but flexible.
Costs:
The cost if for a party of up to 15 children. We charge $5/child for each additional child.

Non-members $160. The non-member price includes a one-year Friends-of-the-Nature-Center family membership with which you can enjoy free building admission, discounts on programs and in the store, and the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting this great facility!
